Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista
- Remove Acronis Secure Zone (see Removing Acronis Secure Zone)
- Remove the programm using Microsoft Fixit. Choose the I want to uninstall a product option.
- Remove Acronis True Image Backup Archive Explorer (see Removing Acronis Backup Archive Explorer)
- Remove Acronis SnapAPI drivers (see Removing Acronis SnapAPI Drivers)
- Unregister Acronis Scheduler service (see Unregistering Acronis Scheduler Service)
- Open Windows Task Manager and stop the TrueImageMonitor.exe process
- Run regedit and delete the following registry keys:
- Windows 32 bit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREAcronis (Windows 64 bit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREWow6432NodeAcronis)
- Windows 32 bit: HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareAcronis (Windows 64 bit: HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareWow6432NodeAcronis)
- HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT.tib
- HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT.tis
- HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTtibfile
- HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTtisfile
- Delete TrueImageMonitor.exe value from:
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun
- Delete the Program FilesAcronis folder
- Delete the Program FilesCommon FilesAcronis folder
- Delete the Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataAcronis folder (or ProgramDataAcronis in Windows Vista)
- Delete the WINDOWSsystem32autoprnt.exe if it exists
- Delete shortcuts from Desktop and Start menu
- Reboot the computer
